Export Control Compliance

Claxton Logistics Services, LLC supports the U.S. Department of Defense and other federal customers, and is committed to full compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 CFR Parts 120–130) administered by the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR, 15 CFR Parts 730–774) administered by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security.

What This Means

Employment

Certain positions at Claxton require access to export-controlled information and, in many cases, an active U.S. Government security clearance. Where indicated in a job posting, applicants must be U.S. persons and/or able to obtain and maintain the required clearance. This is a legal requirement of the work performed, not a preference of the company.

Teaming partners, subcontractors, and vendors who receive export-controlled information from Claxton are expected to maintain their own export compliance programs and to handle such information in accordance with the ITAR, the EAR, and the terms of the applicable contract, non-disclosure agreement, or technical assistance agreement.
